Thinking Outside the Shirt

Designated for a swag comparable to a mix between Ferris Bueller and Andre Leon Talley, the out of the ordinary designs by Slow and Steady Wins the Race ensure attention, through stylized expression.
The eighth and ninth issues of the brand screams abstact by transforming, and editing the norm, and standard, feeding off ideas and concepts brought on by their previous issues. Talk about thinking outside the box, or shall I say the shirt.

Classic threads, and silhouettes suggest a thumbs up, yet brand new, unthought-of additions whisper extremity, to leave you with a raised "THE ROCK" eyebrow. I wonder if Slow and Steady's designs would be a big hit at interviews or weddings. Would the hiring manager look at you as if your out of place, like "try again", or would the bridesmaids welcome the OriginalFreshness with open arms?(Pun intended, look at the shirt above to the left)

Sanrajaketto

What up Though, allow me to put yall onto the OriginalFreshness, from One-NESS. Classic, in standard rain jacket ingredients, with a few spoonfuls of that special sauce, (HA!) Sanrajaketto, is the product of sheer inventive ideas, and bold design elements.

See through rain-proof of sorts, featuring, transparent plastic covering, easily removable for anyone who might not be shouting from the rooftops about being draped in a shower curtain.
Specifically placed slits in the jacket reveal a neatly showing a camo, type of montage displays ingenious, clever, style.

Available at that One-NESS site that I conveniently linked up, have FireFox(FireFox 3 is dope, and a must have by the way) translate it for you. 51,450 is the going stamp on this reptile of a jacket. (LOL) I don't know what that means to you, shit... i don't know what it means to me. Anyway you can get it there, and you saw it first right here. OriginalFresh.

Standing in the Shadow

Yeah Yeah, I know how everybody be raving over the classic designs, comfort, and durability Saucony is known for. Sike! (Psyche) But nevermind that, the Shadow design(which was featured here a lil while back) is flavor on it's own, then when put together with Alife, the style is hyped up to new notches.

The Shadow 6G's (6000) are being released exclusively at the ARC, this saturday, the 28th, with an accompanying tee. Only in the 3 colorways shown, they're gonna run a buck 10 a pair, and 40 bills 4 the shirt.
Look Out, Cuz Now You Know.

Staple Splash

Yo! WTF is this forreal, are they serious? Indeed they are, and effortlessly embracing the OriginalFresh mantra in the process. Holding the general pedigree for a poncho intact, yet stripping those so "uncool" things about the typical, Staple Design got real brolic with the design of this Spring Poncho.
I'll def rock this, and not on some rainy day tip either.

As basic, and simple looking as it possibly could be to the norm, of what you would define as a poncho. But the thought and design put into this piece, sets it apart from that thing you throw over ya clothes, when your about to get on a water ride, at Great Adventures or something. 1st of all the material used is def easy on the eye (in a way), nowhere near a bright-ass yellow. Neutral in content as far as having camo design aesthetics, and being easily wearable, and adaptable in accordance to your wardrobe. Without the loud color, it's easy to look on the bright side in reference to this.

Snatched straight from the Staple Design spring lookbook, the sketches, with all the details, and lil arrows were a great touch. And included at the bottom of the sketches are slick comments, coupled with design breakdowns, and a slight glimpse into the mind of the designer. Below is what was said for the Boyce Rain Poncho. But do, peep the rest of the lookbook, and know what is.

Spring Wave from Denmark

Your looking at the newest latest from Wood Wood, (don't mind the name) the Spring/Summer line presents a collection that screams youth maturity. Through expressive, fits and colors an aggressive chic nature is too evident. With special emphasis on design aesthetics, smooth calm tones, fall back, yet compliment the way each article amplifies it's own unique style.

The womens end of the line is not too form fitting, making for a real creative touch. Slightly oversized, with the length coming in in just the right way, allowing for a funky fit, a simple step away from the norm. Neutral colors and prominent reds, show cool innovation, in the warmer seasons. Link the site to see the full line, as well as the online shop.

Stepping Blocks

Honestly when I first saw these, the Steve Aoki Supra's came to mind, not to knock the design or anything. But a look closer unveils, a cool creative aesthetic, that sheds light on the homie in the corner, who might not get the deserved attention, K-Swiss. Great outsource to link up with, J Hederus brings forth articles from a future date, in this case mid 2008. A clean game of Tetris on ya feet, and easily detachable due to the addition of velcro above the laces. Makes it too simple to showcase ya sneaks alter-ego.

Looking like designs from a far off nation, or anime flick, Julia Hederus designs are def not the everyday, but somewhere in ya mind, you look at it like it, could I see myself sporting the newest latest from Hederus. Well just take the K-Swiss High Block Sneakers, as a small step forward, a lil taste of whats to come.

Just look at this shit, she's really onto something, y'all better look alive.

Set to drop the 15th of August. You can def pre-order now, to be released on the specified date, only at: www.oki-ni.com. Not really sure of the cost, or if they will be released in limited quantities(which should really be irrelevant), but you'll know when I do.

EarBud YoYo

This lil' brilliantly purposeful, functional item, has the ability, to save time, contribute to simplicity, all while being a clever tool, that effortlessly has the means to double, (well triple) as a token of promotional display. The POP, is just one of numerous products from the inventive maven, Bluelounge, in succession with The Sanctuary, and Cool Feet, both also, helping us get a long that much easier with our everyday electronic companions.

A cable yoyo, with the soul purpose, to coil the inevitable companion to your iPod or Mp3 player in an easily accessible display. Held together by a simple nifty contraption that suctions the gathered headphones in a clean neat manner, to ya Zune-Pod, (I really heard someone use that term before, and they were dead serious) or whatever you wanna call it.

Only running about 10 bucks, click over to the Bluelounge site, to get yours,(or see where you can get yours)and to see what else they coming with.

Chocolate Spray

Wow. Now i know this Axe Ad, has nothing to do with nothing, but you can't front on it's candid original approach.

Homie sprays hisself down real heavy with the AXE, hops out in the street stepping like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever looking like a chocolate Jolly Green Giant, this is some unstoppable funny shit.
"AXE, you crazy for this one!"

It not really suggests or tells you to go cop this spray, but more like dares you.
On the one hand, my man, is entirely too cool, calm, and collected, to have his body parts being severd the way they are. But then, he's swag splashin, all the ladies in his path, on some don't fret, tip, it's def enough of me to go around.
